How to Report a Trail Issue
Northwest Arkansas is a somewhat unique place when it comes to knowing how to best report trail issues. FAST has prepared this guide to help you navigate reporting trail maintenance and repair needs.

Disclaimer: FAST helps lead and facilitate trail work by organizing trail work days and assisting local land owners and civic entities with their trail maintenance efforts. However, FAST does not own or control any local trails. We work to mobilize and connect volunteers with stakeholders to actively maintain our local trails. Bentonville Trails

In general, the best way to report issues to trails within the City of Bentonville is through the city’s 311 system. These reports go directly to the appropriate people within the parks department and allow them to assign the work to the appropriate repair crew. This also helps the city track the number of hours spent on the trails and helps them budget for future needs.
To report a trail issue in Bentonville, you fill out a report with Bentonville311 online which allows you to drop a pin on the map and upload a photo of the trail issue. Alternatively, you can simply dial 311 on your cell phone while within the city of Bentonville to file a trail report.
Coler Mountain Bike Preserve

Even though Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is within the city of Bentonville, it is a completely separate entity with its own trail maintenance crew.
To best report a trail issue within Coler’s boundaries, take a picture of the issue and a screenshot of your location on Trailforks or Google Maps, and post the images with a description of the issue to the Coler MTB Preserve Facebook page.
NOTE: The Lore Ax trails south of Coler are not a part of Coler MTB Preserve. These trails are owned and maintained by Trailblazers. See the next section below for how to report an issue.
Trailforks Reporting

If in doubt whether a trail is maintained by the city of Bentonville, you can report trail issues on Trailforks. These reports are seen by the Trailblazers crew and passed along to the correct entity to address the issue.

Bella Vista Reporting

If you are a resident of Bella Vista, we encourage you to download the Bella Vista City App to your phone. You can use it to submit trail reports directly to the city. As with Bentonville, this allows the City of Bella Vista to assign the work to the appropriate repair crew, and helps the city track the number of hours spent on the trails and helps them budget for future needs.
You can also submit a trail report directly on City of Bella Vista website.
