Bentonville Bike Fest FAST Volunteer Opportunities

FAST is going to be much more involved with Bentonville Bike Fest this year. In addition to having a booth; we have been asked to assist in organized rides on various days. Let's use this opportunity to show just how much our club does for the community! Free Bentonville Bike Fest entry passes will be given to those who volunteer.*
Details of FAST Activities By Day
E-Mobility Day: Thursday, June 11th.
FAST will be supporting two e-bike rides.
- Bentonville Town Tour. This scenic tour includes a few fun stops and is perfect for riders of all ages and abilities.
- Art E-bike Tour with Tom Hoehn:
- A fun and social ride for all skill levels.
- Stops at key art installations throughout downtown.
- Insights into Bentonville’s vibrant art, culinary, and cycling scene.

FAST Festival Booth: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 12-14
FAST needs seven (7) volunteers to work a 2 to 3 hour shift in our booth each day.
Pro Rides: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 12-13
FAST needs multiple volunteers to work with some of the visiting pros to help with crowd control and ride support. Meet Kyle & Rachel Strait, and Marshall "Major" Gehrke.
Sponsor Rides: Saturday and Sunday AM, June 13-14 (before the festival opens each morning)
FAST has the opportunity to support Bentonville Bike Fest Sponsor Rides which are led by professional athletes. The rides will be beginner or beginner-to-intermediate level for the participants. As a support person, FAST members will be in charge of sweeping the ride and making sure the pro (who may be from out of town) knows where they are going. We need four (4) volunteers for each of these rides.

One volunteer is needed to sweep an eMTB ride through Slaughter Pen with Hans Rey. This is an intermediate ride. This will not be a high-speed ride. Hans will be primarily teaching technical skills with a focus on rider safety.
This ride begins from downtown Bentonville, not at the Bike Fest venue. Meet at the Main Stage on the A Street Promenade.

Drop Shop with Kyle Strait
We need two volunteers to help with ride support to help ensure the safety of the group, and make sure the group stays together.
This ride is for intermediate to advanced riders, and will hit Thunderdome and Drop the Hammer.
Meet at the Rider's Registration Tent on the Bike Fest grounds.

This clinic will utilized the Straight Rhythm course.
We need 2 volunteers to help with ride support and crowd control.

Volunteers for this event will need to be familiar with the Green trails at Coler well and feel comfortable guiding riders. We will also need a sweep to make sure no one gets left behind.

This is a beginner-to-intermediate ride at a true party pace—it’s all about the vibes, the history, and showing off those timeless builds. We want to see your best retro gear and bikes from 1999 or earlier in action. Let’s make this a moving tribute to the golden age of mountain biking!
Join us for a vintage ride through Coler with Kevin Sande & Hans Rey. Pre-2000 bikes only. Party pace. Free entry. Don't have a vintage bike? Borrow one from your dad, your uncle, or that neighbor with a garage full of mystery.
Kevin Sande and mountain bike legend Hans Rey are leading a chill cruise through Coler Preserve—beginner friendly, vibe-forward, and built to celebrate the golden age of MTB. Retro riding gear strongly encouraged.
